We heard from our detective today (it only took the City of Atlanta Police 4 days and an escalation to Lt. Roey to assign a detective!) but not much help there. We have a spreadsheet composed of timelines, contacts, hangouts, and so on that we've handed over to them but it becomes clear that we're probably going to have to do this on our own. We continue to look for a private investigator and will be hiring one soon. All of Maddie's friends and parents have been made aware of the situation already and will contact us if or when they hear from her or see her. Maggie and Dee-Dee put out flyers today all over Candler Park, Little 5 points, and other known "hang outs". The Lake Claire land trust has an eye out as well as other local Atlanta communities. We appreciate your continued thoughts, prayers, and support.
Best,
Jason "Todd" Grimm

Contact any of us for the Atlanta Police Department missing persons case number or the Center for missing and exploited children case number or contact information if you want to call and harass them for more support; although I've got to say the "center" has been much more helpful and deserves less abuse.
ReplyDeleteAlso Alecia's sister (Christina) came down to help as well today, thank you. We let all family and friends know today the depth of what is going on, we appreciate all the support.
ReplyDeleteTodd...my heart aches for you and the rest of the family. I'm so sorry you guys have to endure such an emotional hurt. Amy, Cory and I are all praying for Maddie’s safe return! Again, my heart aches for all of you and I feel so helpless at this moment. I just don’t know what to say…
ReplyDeletePlease God, take care of Maddie and bring her home safe and sound minded. Amen.
I love you Todd.

ReplyDeleteMADDIE, YOU ARE LOVED
This afternoon when Ray and I received a phone call from Alecia Grimm, our Daughter in Law, our hearts were crushed. Alecia explained what had happened with Madison not coming home. Ray and I immediately called our Sunday School Class at FBCW to start the prayer chain. Another call was made to our nephew, Howard Strickland, pastor of Crane Eater Church of God in Calhoun and many calls and emails to family and friends. We are praying and believing that Maddie and Christian will have a change of heart and realize that they need to call and let their family know that they are OK. Maddie has been dealing with some major issues and going through counseling for over a year. I know both sets of parents love Madison and pray that she will have a change of heart. Our prayers for Madison and Christian is for their safety and well being. We serve an awesome God that hears and answers all of our cries. Our thoughts are with Todd and Alecia and Maggie and Brian. As Grandparents, Ray and I along with Cheryl are holding our precious granddaughter in our thoughts and prayers. We are trusting our Lord and Savior to bring our children/grandchildren safely home immediately.
